James Blundell is arguably the most influential Australian country artist of his generation. His glittering career spans over 34 years, 14 studio albums, multiple CMAA Golden Guitar awards, and inductions to the CMAA Roll of Renown and the CMC Hall of Fame.

“Aussie Legends Hemp is proud to have James Blundell as our Ambassador”, says Peter Saunderson Aussie Legends Hemp Business Affairs Manager, “ His genuine desire to help others help themselves, his integrity and authenticity are the same values we have built Aussie Legends Hemp on.

At a time COVID was running rampant and The Music Industry was one long line of out of work musicians, cancelled festivals and closed venues James met Peter through a mutual acquaintance. The two men hit it off forging a deep and abiding friendship based on a shared vision of the benefits of hemp, the plant that has been called the eighth wonder of the world.

“ Becoming an Aussie Legends Hemp’s Ambassador was a no brainer”, says James, “ My relationship is the perfect fit. It’s very easy to speak with conviction about something you know and love. Long before I met Peter, I’d been using the product having no idea that one day I would be in a position to ambassador the company.

I’m just here sharing something I believe in whole heartedly. It’s very hard not to be a zealot, you just want people to move forward into the benefits of the product without trying to sell them snake oil or things the general public get whitewashed with all the time.”

With Sideways the first single off his forthcoming album World Don’t Stop shooting up the country charts, James Blundell has been extra busy down on his farm and on the road.

Here’s two recent interviews with Channel Nine XTRA hosts David Campbell and Sylvia Jeffreys and Studio Ten’s Angela Bishop, Daniel Doody, Narelda Jacobs & Tristan MacManus talking history, Aussie Legends hemp and hit singles.

The Studio Ten interview features an excellent unplugged acoustic version of Sideways.

Early this year James completed Series 1 of Down on The Farm, his fortnightly podcast proudly sponsored by Aussie Legends Hemp on Punktured Media’s You Tube Channel.

And…to whet your appetite for Season 2 here’s James’s compelling Series 1 interview with the amazing Andi Lucas, Executive Officer Tasmanian Hemp Association, Founder of X – Hemp [Tasmania’s only hemp fibre processing facility] and NSP Development [building hempcrete homes in Tasmania].
