Here at Aussie Legends Hemp, we believe that truth, honesty and persuasiveness are 3 of the most important tools in life. We want to make sure that everyone can get the truth about the many environmentally friendly products that can be produced from the hemp plant
Questions to ask any Hemp Seed Oil company (including us) to make sure that the quality of their products are the best they can possibly be!
Remember oils ain’t oils my friend!
QUESTIONS
Which country does the seed originate from?
All our seeds are grown in Australia and Canada using the best soil available and weather conditions to provide the best AAA premium quality oil possible. Some of the hemp seed oil companies on the market import the seed from China and then cold press in Australia and claim its Australian made, plus the seed husk must be removed to import into Australia which again lowers the quality much more.
Does the seed still have its husk on when cold pressed?
YES, this is a very important detail of the process as it keeps the omega oils fresh to provide AAA premium quality oil.
Do you force filter your oil?
NO, we don’t get our oil force filtered at all. We prefer the process of letting it settle naturally for approximately 6 weeks then scoop all the chlorophyl rich pure oil off the top, and all the sediment on the bottom (called hemp nectar) we literally say throw it, we don’t want it as the quality of hemp nectar is very poor compared to what we use (You will notice many pet shops sell hemp nectar). When force filtering the oil it also loses much of its quality. Many companies still force filter their oil regardless of this fact, simply because it can be produced much quicker and much cheaper (hence poor-quality oil).
How did you overcome the issue of the omega oil’s going rancid (off)?
Omega oils are prone to going ‘off’ very quickly when exposed to oxygen or when left in the sun. To prevent this, we have added a natural antioxidant to massively prolong the freshness of our oil.
Who do you get to bottle your oil?
Some newcomers to the hemp seed oil industry are bottling their oil at their home address. We prefer to use a TGA (Therapeutic Goods Administration) registered facility to fill our bottles of Premium hemp seed oil and water-soluble concentrate. This is to ensure that the oil you are consuming is produced with care and is safe.
What is the best before date of your products?
Our best before date is noted here on the website and on our bottles.
What are your goals, hopes and visions for the future of the hemp industry?
Our main goal at Aussie Legends Hemp is to help create a happier, more balanced toxic free world. We wish to help heal the planet one step at a time and educate the populous about the many TOTALLY environmentally friendly products that can be produced from the hemp plant such as:
- Hemp seed oil
- Hemp plastics
- Hemp Homes
- Hemp cosmetics
- Hemp fuel
- Hemp clothing
The list is endless with basically no negative effects on humans, animals and most of all, our home mother earth. Aussie Legends Hemp will happily support anyone that is in the hemp industry for the right reasons, if they wish us to.
